From this angle the seminar's aim was "to encourage cultural exchanges between the regions of Europe based on improved knowledge of existing activities in this field and the definition of working themes on the basis of which future co-operation initiatives might be launched". 
This report is an attempt to take stock of this matter, drawing on the exchanges which took place in Como.
